As I know Giorgio by Giorgio Beverly Hills was an expensive prestige fragrance in the past decades. This classic American scent was considered as “loud and proud” back in the 1980's. I have never had a chance to try the original version of Giorgio Beverly Hills. I've definitely purchased the modern formulation as it is not as loud and overpowering as it is described the original version. Despite it is not a softie to me it is classy complex fragrance where rich white florals are well blended and nothing sticks out. There are also some delicate fruitiness, soft animalic, a creamy element, and some woody depth. All notes open up gradually, so the fragrance changes on me over time. The opening is quite strong but as it dries down it’s very creamy and soft. Good projection and longevity. I find it very beautiful and elegant, evening style fragrance. In good sense old school perfume. Did not expect this high quality for the funny price. Good to have a bottle in my collection.
